Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, Hygienists, Pharmacists, Opticians, Teachers, Preachers, Evangelists, Cooks, Maintainers, Helpers, Workers, Translators– if you have a talent, you can be used!
Come see, come touch, come feel the spiritual exhilaration of being on a campaign to heal, encourage, uplift, build, save souls. Latin American Missions’ primary goal for all campaigns is “to seek and save the lost” and to encourage and build up one another (Luke 19:10, I Thessalonians 5:11).
A secondary goal is to provide an opportunity for individuals and congregations to personally participate and work in various capacities on the foreign mission field as we are instructed in the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Our missionaries fulfill a great task in coordinating the efforts which take place during a campaign. In any location where a campaign is held, a preacher is always left to care for the new Christians.
How to Register for a Campaign
All campaign participants must send in a completed registration form and be approved by the Forrest Park elders. An online application is available on our LAM Homepage or click on the Online Registration button below.
Since travel is outside the continental United States, a current, valid passport is required. Also, the passport expiration date must be, as a minimum, six-months beyond the entry date back into the United States. If it is not, the airlines will not allow you to depart the United States.
A CLEAR, COLOR copy of your Passport Photo/ID Page must be either by Emailed or Snail Mailed as soon as possible after submitting your Registration. Immunization requirements vary depending on where you are going. Please check with your local physician for recommended shots.
You will need to bring enough clothing, toiletries and other items for the time you are on campaign. There may be limitations as to how many pieces of luggage you are allowed to bring. Consult your campaign information package for further information.
Expenses to participate on a campaign include an airline ticket, team expenses, and some food and lodging costs. On average, an eight day campaign trip may cost a minimum of $2,000.00 or more. Costs vary depending on the location, number of workers from the United States and Latin America, and type of campaign.
